Artspectrum is pleased to announce it is hosting a new event featuring competitions in the solo, duo, group and collegiate categories for schools, studios, community/recreation programs and college/university dance teams. This event offers workshops in tap, jazz, ballet, modern / contemporary dance, hip hop, ballroom and swing dance taught by nationally and internationally known teachers and coaches in conjunction with the 12th American Lindy Hop Championships. Competitors are required to have a current AAU membership to participate in this event. In addition, Contestants may also attend ALHC as spectators on Saturday and Sunday during the AAU divisions.

The collegiate division is part of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) portion of the event. Classes will be offered in each of the event's competition areas. In addition, American Lindy Hop Championships (ALHC) classes offered during that same time frame would be available for participants to take. To participate your club or school needs to be a member of the AAU. You should check with your college, school, studio or club to see if it is already a member. Each dancer would also need to be a member to compete.

AAU members are encouraged to compete at ALHC in Cabaret, Team and/or the Junior Division in swing.
